Using Today’s Prevention Plan

How the Today screen chooses your next action, and how to add context or undo a completion.

Your main next action

Today’s Prevention Plan opens on the one action most worth your attention right now, chosen from your current program week and recent activity — not a long checklist. Complete it when you’ve done it.

Adding context

You can add optional context to an action — for example, what got in the way, if anything. This is optional and never required to mark something done.

Correcting a mistake

If you complete something by accident, look for an undo/correction option on that action. Honest information is more useful to your own progress than a perfect-looking log — there’s no penalty for correcting yourself.

Weight goal progress on Today

If a weight goal applies to you, Today shows progress toward your 5% target (and your 7% stretch target) once you have a starting weight recorded. If you haven’t set a starting weight in onboarding yet, Today will prompt you to.

If a weight-loss goal isn’t appropriate for your profile, this card shows as “Weight tracking” instead of “Weight goal progress” — you can still log weight for your own reference without a numeric target attached.

If a healthcare-professional follow-up was suggested

If your onboarding answers suggested a healthcare-professional follow-up (see Safety Questions & Lab Results), Today shows a note explaining that a self-guided weight-loss program isn’t starting automatically, and points you to Settings for your account and privacy controls. You’ll still see general starting suggestions for food and activity — they’re just not personalized to a specific goal yet.
