Getting started with Prediabetes.life

What Prediabetes.life is, what it isn’t, and the quickest path from signing up to your first day on the program.

What Prediabetes.life is

Prediabetes.life helps you build everyday lifestyle habits — around activity, eating patterns, and weight — that may help lower your risk of type 2 diabetes. It’s self-guided lifestyle support: you log what you did, and the app reflects patterns back to you.

It does not diagnose any condition, does not provide medical treatment, and is not an emergency service. It does not replace a healthcare professional — for diagnosis, abnormal lab results, medication, or symptoms, talk to a clinician.

Quick start

The shortest path from a new account to your first day on the program:

  1. 1

    Create your account

Sign up with your email and a password on the Sign up page.

  2. 2

    Verify your email, if asked

Some accounts are asked to confirm their email before continuing — see the Account & Email Verification guide if that step doesn’t go smoothly.

  3. 3

    Confirm your age

Prediabetes.life is for adults 18+. You’ll confirm this once on the Confirm your age screen.

  4. 4

    Review the safety disclaimer

A short Medical Safety Disclaimer explains what the app is (and isn’t) before you continue.

  5. 5

    Complete onboarding

A short setup — your goal, your situation, measurements, and a few safety questions — personalizes the program for you.

  6. 6

    Review privacy and health-data steps

You’ll confirm the Privacy Policy/Terms and, separately, a health-data consent before your program data is used.

  7. 7

    Open Today

Today’s Prevention Plan is your home base — it shows the one thing most worth focusing on right now.
