Exporting your data, withdrawing consent, and deleting your account

How to download your data, withdraw or re-accept a consent, and permanently delete your account from Settings.

Exporting your data

Settings has an Export action that downloads a CSV file of your data (named like prediabetes-data-export-YYYY-MM-DD.csv). Settings also shows a plain-language breakdown of the data categories in your account — counts only, matching what’s in the export.

The Privacy & Consents section of Settings lists every consent you’ve given, with a Withdraw action where applicable.

Withdrawing Privacy Policy or Terms consent is required to use Prediabetes.life — withdrawing it will limit or end your ability to use the Service until you accept it again.

Withdrawing health-data consent is narrower: it pauses your prevention-program features (Today, Coach, Program, Check-in, Progress, History, Doctor Summary) until you acknowledge it again, but you can still view Settings, export your data, and delete your account at any time.

Deleting your account

Account deletion in Settings permanently deletes your account, sign-in access, and all program data — check-ins, progress, goals, food patterns, coach conversations, and reports. You will not be able to sign in again with those credentials, and this cannot be undone.

A minimal anonymized record that a deletion occurred is kept for security purposes; it contains no health data and cannot be traced back to you.

Because deletion is permanent, export your data first if you want to keep a copy.

Frequently asked

If I withdraw health-data consent, do I lose my data?
No — withdrawing pauses your program features, it doesn’t delete anything. You can re-accept later to resume, or export/delete separately at any time.
